Draft: Yumanos

About

Yumanos are humanoid species with no sexual dimorphism. They are hermaphrodite. Usually one is a giver (penum) and another is an accepter (vaginum). They have several gifts. Some can fly, some can swim and breathe underwater, some are on earth and run fast, some can dig deeply, some are climber and jumper.

Based on the place of their habitat there are several kinds of Yumanos. Earthlings live on earth. Skylings live on solid clouds called solls and sky. Sealings live on seas and oceans.

Yumanos are ovovivipar mammal. So, they form eggs inside of their womb (ovo). And the eggs will break away right before they give birth. They nurse their babies with milk. Because of their ovovivipar nature, they can have up to 12 children at a time.

Yumanos can be more masculine or feminine inside and outside depends on their activity, hormones secretion, and their psychological condition. In short, they are flexible in a way. But, they usually be more on one spectrum at a time.

Origin

Yumanos are made by God in the garden of Paradisus where there is a pond or small lake of life. God created Raphael first and then Abednego from the flowers of Paradisus. But the Devil in the form of Condor tell them to drink the water of the pond and lie to God. And because they choose to follow their ego and Devil, God has to let them go to repent all their life. But God promises to bless them with many descendants and good life as long as they remember Him.

Religion

Yumanos have religion and faith called Pistis. It is about personal connection with and rememberance about God. Seven times a day prayers and personal purification are the central rites of Pistis.

They have the priestly order to serve the laity. And saints to guide and inform people. Some people that have the gift of prophecy are called Prophets. And there are false prophets too.

Witchcraft is prohibited but might be practiced by some people to harm others. While priest usuallly do purification both to prevent and cleanse any dark or negative influence.

Giving your tithes to the needy is obligated for the ones who can afford it. And if you do not follow this, you can be excommunicated as loving your fellow Yumanos is an important part of you faith.

Those who are of the same faith usually have the same kingdom or community. But those who have a different faith will have a different one. Unless, you are a sojourner.

The worship building is called Tera. The whole congregation is called Ecclesia. The mystical body of the believers is called Great Eccleasia. While the local body of believers under a bishop is called Small Ecclesia.

Dancing and singing are parts of the worship. Giving praise to God and having gratitude on all occasions are integral to the faith. Musics are not allowed for worship aside for big drums (doogs) and gongs to mark some parts of the dance.

Monasticism are encouraged especially for widows, widowers, and old people. Some youth can also become monastics. Celibate monastics do not have any spouses. While semi-monastics (sems) can have spouse. They usually live in a monastery complex governed by an Abbot. He might be helped by headers. The ones who just stay for a time either just once or more than once are called novitiate. While monastics and sems must stay.

Governing

The small community has Elder to govern them. The Elder is helped by aiders that help him on several things.

The bigger community usually is a kingdom. Governed by a king. The king has dukes to help him. And under the king, there might be Priors to govern smaller areas.

Lands and Kingdoms

There are several lands and kingdoms in Yumanos world.

1. Aogahara

They sells animal product to outsiders. There are some green pasture too on the mountains. Because they live there, almost no one wants to come and stay for a long time. They have Basilica de Santo Giorgino at the one of the highest area. Some pilgrims from outside go there to pray.

3. Oceano

Oceano is a kingdom of ocean-living Yumanos. Consiting of low-depth to medium-depth areas. The people usually trade fish, seafoods, or pearls to outsiders. They can breathe with their lung and skin. So they can meet non ocean-living Yumanos.

4. Agamenos

Agamenos is a kingdom of winged Yumanos that live on the solid clouds called solls. Because its areas are clouds, it always moves. There are castles with high minarets or towers on each. The people trades silk wools from winged sheeps called skeeps and pure or virgin rain water that is used for rituals or for health. They also trade birds because they understand birds and flying animals better than non winged Yumanos.

5. Hagiona

Hagiona is a community of monastics in a deep part of the great forest called Forestia. The people usually do not trade with outsiders. They are self-dependent. They farm, they collect from the forest, they mostly dedicate their time for prayers and self purification. Some pilgrims come there although it is hard to reach. Some pilgrims stay forever and others go home after they finish their time there. The Great Abbot reside there. He governs the community and keeps the Holy Tradition alive.

6. Evelia

Evelia is on a land near the great and deep valley called Gehennom. Evelia is a kingdom ruled by an ungodly king for the ungodly people. It focus on material gain and worldly pleasure. Some people trade here and get ensnared. Some others just come and leave. And then, there are people who do not want to come here at all. Some people practice witchcraft because it really helps with their egos and realizing what they wants. Slavery is practiced under several names. There is no day or night here because the kingdom has no sleep.

7. Pirate Beize

Pirate Beize is a community of pirates that live on a bay called Baya. The people pirate any ships that come into their territory. They also pirate sealings (the ocean-living Yumanos) when they come above the water. Sometimes they also kidnap people especially women. They trade with other kingdoms when they travel outside individually.

8. Suzui

Suzui is a community of fishermen and seamen that live on a bay called Nagisa. The people depend on sea products to keep living. Because other communities or kingdoms may come to them, sometimes they trade and get things that are not usually found there. They also help sealings trade their things with other earthlings with some pay given to them.

Note:
Other kingdoms and communitues might be added eventually. But the basic concept and style are mostly the same with the ones already listed.
